InsightBase is an AI-driven analytics platform that enables business users to interact with their databases by simply asking questions. Instead of writing SQL queries, users can type questions in plain English – for example, “What were the total orders last quarter by region?” – and InsightBase will translate that into a database query, execute it, and return the answer along with relevant charts or tables.

It effectively acts as a chat-based BI tool, allowing quick ad-hoc analysis without technical skills. Users can connect InsightBase to popular databases or data warehouses (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, etc.), then start exploring. The platform also lets users build and save dashboards composed of the questions/visualizations they’ve created, making it easy to monitor key metrics.

Additionally, InsightBase includes a monitoring feature: you can set important metrics and get alerts (via Slack or email) when those numbers change or hit certain conditions, thanks to the AI continuously checking your data for anomalies or noteworthy changes.
