Tellius

Tellius is an intelligent analytics and BI platform that combines search-driven analytics with AI-generated insights. With Tellius, users can literally ask questions about their business data in a Google-like search bar. For example, typing “show sales growth by product in 2025 vs 2024” will instantly produce a chart comparing product sales year-over-year. Beyond just answering questions, Tellius has a powerful “Insight Engine” that can perform automated analysis.

One hallmark feature is its ability to do key driver analysis with a single click — for instance, if revenue dipped last month, Tellius can automatically analyze all dimensions (product, region, customer segment, etc.) to explain why, surfacing contributors like “a drop in sales in the Northeast region for Product X contributed -5% to the revenue change.” Similarly, it can detect anomalies and trends in data on its own and alert the user.

The system is designed to handle big data by leveraging scalable backends (it can connect to Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, etc., and push-down computations). Users can create interactive dashboards as with any BI tool, but the differentiator is the ability to conversationally interact with those dashboards (drilling down by simply asking or clicking on suggestions) and to let the AI find stories in the data.

It also supports predictive analytics; for example, a user could ask “which customers are likely to churn?” and if historical data is present, Tellius can train a quick model behind the scenes to answer. The platform is enterprise-focused, available as a cloud service or on-prem, with pricing on a per-user or capacity basis.
